OUR DOGS

Our dogs are carefully chosen for key characteristics such as their health, temperament and appearance. We’ve had all our dogs since they were puppies and have watched them thrive whilst slowly introducing them to the rest of the pack. We give each dog an assessment at 12 months old and decide whether we think they will make suitable Mums/ Dads.

We do an array of genetic tests here at Rosedale which means no Rosedale puppy will ever be affected by any of the following diseases:

Neonatal Encephalopathy

prcd-PRA

rcd4-PRA / LOPRA

Degenerative Myelopathy

Hyperuricosuria

Gangliosidosis Variant O ( Sandhoff Disease)

Dry Eye Curly Coat Syndrome

Episodic Falling

Muscular Dystrophy

Myxomatous Mitral Valve Disease

All Rosedale puppies will come home with copies of all genetic test certificates in their puppy pack as proof that no Rosedale puppy will ever be affected from any of these awful diseases.

Meet the Boys

We have six fantastic Poodle studs:

  • Waffles - Red Rocks (Miniature)

  • Teddy - Harlevlot He’s Simba (Miniature)

  • Eddie - Kulute Rocco (Miniature)

  • Pancake - Amber Echo (Miniature)

  • Leo - Kaysmaltis Shooting Star (Toy)

  • Sonny – Sunset Fantasy (Toy)

All of our stud dogs receive veterinary health checks every 6 months to ensure they stay in peak condition. We make sure they have regular resting periods between mating, so they are not overused at stud. All of our boys undergo extensive health testing prior to being used at stud and all have excellent pedigrees with very low COI percentages (interbreeding). Copies of all genetic health screening certificates along with the Kennel Club registration will be provided in your puppy pack.  Rosedale Doodles stud dogs are used exclusively at Rosedale Doodles and are not offered for stud duties so you will never find another puppy quite like yours.

Meet the Girls

All our girls are stunning examples of their breeds and have happy, outgoing temperaments. We breed from a broad gene base of unrelated dogs, producing a much more mentally stable and healthier family dog.  All our girls receive full vet health checks every 6 months to ensure they’re in perfect health. They are with us from puppies and are then spayed between 5-6 years old. They have a maximum of one litter per year and will have a maximum of 4 litters in their lifetime. All our mums have at least one season in between mating to ensure they get plenty of time to relax and play.

Upon viewing and collecting your puppy both Mum and Dad will be available to meet her at Rosedale. We also send out weekly pupdates from birth and this includes newborn videos with Mum.
