About Rosedale

We were established 15 years ago, by our founder Paula. She has always been passionate about animals and has a lifetime of experience with both dogs and horses. She bred her first litter of puppies at 17 years of age and has been lovingly breeding dogs ever since.

When Paula relocated to Lancashire, she wanted to start breeding a low to non-shedding family dog and had fallen in love with the Labradoodle. Her experience with breeding combined with her lifelong love of dogs, meant word of mouth quickly increased the demand for her lovely puppies. Paula’s reputation organically grew, making Rosedale Doodles the triumph it is today.

When Paula’s daughter Abbi stopped competing in events with her horses, they both decided to shift their focus solely to their love of dogs and dog breeding. They converted the stables into state-of-the-art kennels and utilised their six acres of land for raising and exercising the dogs.

Here at Rosedale, our philosophy is simple - we provide the very best care for our breeding bitches and stud dogs and treat them like part of our family. With Paula and Abbi’s expertise, Rosedale Doodles is an environment that ensures each of our puppies receive the best possible start in life.

Abbi has followed in Paula’s footsteps and now runs Rosedale with the help of five wonderful team members, who have been trained to the highest standard and go through a strict training programme every 6 months. Every member of the Rosedale team has previous experience working with animals, receiving qualifications in animal management, animal behaviour, animal nutrition and breeding and animal welfare. The welfare of our animals is paramount, so we are extremely lucky to have such a trustworthy and reliable team.

Paula is still here most days and continues to provide our customers with her expert advice, so please do not hesitate to ask for our assistance; we are just a phone call away. 

Due to our long waiting lists and keeping footfall to a minimum as part of our infection control on keeping all our puppies safe and healthy we only allow visits from our current customers. However, we do encourage our current customers to come and visit us, so you can view our warm and welcoming reception area, viewing rooms, large runs and exercise pens for our dogs.
